The National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela has decided to extend voting hours for the election of judges and justices of the peace until 8:00 PM due to the significant influx of voters throughout the country.

This measure aims to ensure that all citizens in line can exercise their right to vote. Carlos Quintero, vice president of the CNE, stressed that this electoral process is unprecedented and coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In total, 4,817 polling stations have been set up in 4,862 communal circuits, where more than 30,000 justices of the peace will be elected.

Quintero praised the massive participation of the Venezuelan people, emphasizing that the day has been conducted in an atmosphere of tranquility and commitment. He also emphasized that the centers will remain open until the last person in line votes, reflecting citizen interest and participation in this historic event.
